Rupiah Account Restructuing Proposal III.3

Base on data received from March 2009 to September 2009, there are some big amount of balances idle in Satker’s account. Although these idle funds get interest from bank, but the interest paid by bank is very small compare to the interest should be paid by Government Bonds, and Government debt. This idea is to move the management of satker’s account from the related satker to KPPN, and the account will be maintained by KPPN with power of attorney to Satker to use the funds by electronic banking and other payment methods. Every afternoon, the funds will be swept out from this account to transito account as major account, and bank will distribute the balance to the account the next morning of working day.
